My Story:
How "Doggy Voodoo" Started
I've always had a unique connection with dogs. My whole journey of finding my connection with dogs started with my first dog — Kisses. She came into my life on my eighth birthday, and from the moment she walked into our home, she chose me. We connected on a different level compared to others.

Kisses wasn’t just my pet. She became my partner. Wherever I went, she followed. If I sat down, she sat beside me. If I walked across the house, she was right at my heels.

As she got older, I noticed something special about the way she reacted to me. She always did what I asked without hesitation, but it wasn’t out of obedience. It came from trust. She was calm around me in a way she wasn’t with anyone else. Our bond was unde She was gentle, patient, and completely connected to me in a way I couldn’t explain. She understood my energy, my emotions, and everything in between. She made me feel like she understood me in every single way possible

Kisses was the first dog to show me that I had something different… something my mom now calls “Doggy Voodoo.”

After Kisses, I started realizing the same thing was happening everywhere I went. Any time I was around dogs whether they were my family's dogs, friends' dogs, strangers’ dogs, they always seemed to be drawn to me. They would either walk over to me, sit beside me, or follow me around. It was almost like they’ve known me or met me before. Even the quiet, shy, and nervous dogs seemed comfortable around me almost instantly.

It has become a constant pattern.

No matter the breed, the age, or the personality, dogs always seem to naturally connect with me. They tend to act calm, happy, and content when I am around them. Some even portray to be grounded aswell. The same way as Kisses was.

She was the beginning of it all.
She showed me that my bond with dogs wasn’t just something I dreamed up. She helped me realize it was something much more. Something real.

And this website is my way of sharing that connection with others.
